This initiative includes a rebranding to BIG DAISHOWA Europe, aligning the company with its global parent, and major investments in research, logistics, and production.

 

Effective January 1, 2025, BIG DAISHOWA Europe marks the transition from its former name, BIG KAISER Europe. This change unifies the company’s branding worldwide while reinforcing its position as an industry leader.

 

Key developments include:

• European R&D Hub for Innovation: The R&D Centre in Ruemlang, Switzerland, will become the global centre of excellence for the BIG DAISHOWA Group, focusing on digitalisation and automation in tooling solutions.
• Streamlined Global Production: Production of boring tools will transfer to Japan, optimizing global supply chains while assembly and service for European customers remain in Switzerland.
• Expanded European Operations: By 2026, a new European headquarters and logistics centre will open in Germany, enhancing customer service and operational efficiency.
